Get Delivery Or Takeout From A Hotel Restaurant During NYC Restaurant Week 2021

Call it the next best thing to room service.

NYC Restaurant Week, Winter Edition, the annual January blizzard of prix fixe lunches and dinners, has morphed into takeout and delivery meals through February 28, agreeably priced at $20.21.

Deliver, please!

As expected, hotel restaurants are participating, albeit a smaller sampling than usual. Still, if you’ve missed that pleasing frisson of gazing over your garlic chicken and playing spot the most intriguing (or famous) traveler dining at The Greenwich or The Mercer, here’s your chance to score a specially priced meal that gives you a taste of the place.

Yes, it comes in a bag, but just envision it being wheeled into your suite in a parallel universe that’s Covid free.

Here are eight hotel restaurants celebrating NYC Restaurant Week.

Bistrot Leo at SIXTY SoHo
SoHo’s stylish French bistro at SIXTY SoHo offers a choice of braised lamb shank or steak frites. Bonus: order cocktails for two for $25

Locande Verde at the Greenwich Hotel
In Tribeca, the Greenwich Hotel’s clubby Italian restaurant serves up a hearty Eggplant Parm sandwich if it isn’t sold out. Add a takeout Negroni and Delicata (vodka, rosé, cucumber and tonic) for $24

Mercer Kitchen at the Mercer Hotel
Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Mercer Kitchen in SoHo cooks up fried organic chicken, wild rice, pecans, habanero butter and brussel sprouts with pecorino and poblano vinaigrette.

Nice Matin at The Lucerne Hotel
The Lucerne is temporarily closed, but plucky Nice Matin a dependable Upper West Side French bistro, is still cooking. Choose from $20.21 entrees like grilled salmon, ratatouille lasagna and pan-fried chicken breast. Bottled Manhattans and Martinis cost $12.

Nougatine at Trump International New York Hotel & Tower
Another Jean-Georges creation, Nougatine observes NYC Restaurant Week overlooking Columbus Circle with baked flounder, paprika-shallot butter and potato purée with sautéed spinach.

RedFarm Upper West Side at Arthouse Hotel
Specializing in new wave Chinese fare and dim sum, RedFarm at the Arthouse Hotel offers a choice of Garlic Chicken Plate (garlic chicken, vegetable fried rice, seasonal vegetables), BBQ Platter (two-piece short rib, two-piece spare rib, vegetable fried rice, seasonal vegetables) or Dim Sum Platter (one piece each of vegetable, vegetable peanut, shrimp snow pea and lamb dumplings, one pork bun, vegetable fried rice, seasonal vegetables).

Scarpetta at The James New York-NoMad
Toast Restaurant week with $21 bottled cocktails — including two styles of Negroni — and tuck into roasted chicken with roasted vegetables and celery root prepared by Scarpetta, the sophisticated Italian restaurant at the James New York-NoMad.

Tao Downtown
Chelsea’s hip Maritime Hotel is temporarily shuttered, but not Tao Downtown, the atmospheric, subterranean restaurant-cum-nightclub at the hotel. For Restaurant Week, choose from crispy orange chicken, black pepper chili chicken or tofu, jumbo shrimp or pad thai, with a side of vegetable fried rice, steamed bok choy, steamed jasmine white rice or brown rice.

If we missed anyone, give a shout.
