Manhattan Hotels That Rock The Runway During New York Fashion Week Spring 2016

Sure it helps, but you don’t need to see a fashion show to indulge in New York Fashion Week, aka #NYFW. Between September 9 and 17, these Manhattan hotels are rolling out the runway.

Pucker Up

Triumph Hotels, home to seven stylish boutique properties in NoMad, TriBeca and beyond, hosts free make-up touch-ups at a different property each day. Teaming with Pucker, the SoHo on-demand beauty and make-up provider in from celeb make-up artist Julio Sandino, each hotel dedicates a room to beauty with artists on hand to apply the works — sheer coverage, powder, blush, concealer, lip color, brow fill-in and mascara. You don’t have to be a guest to partake, but the service is first come, first served. Get gorgeous, then go sneak into a show. Here’s the schedule:

Wednesday, September 9: The Evelyn, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday, September 10: Hotel Chandler, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday, September 11: Hotel Belleclaire, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday, September 14: Hotel Edison, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tuesday, September 15: Hotel Iroquois, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, September 16: The Cosmopolitan, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thursday, September 17: Washington Jefferson, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Party

The Chester, the buzzy restaurant at the Ganesvoort Meatpacking District, is the setting for NYFW Style Bar, a fashion and footwear party hosted by Studio 15, an online fashion boutique, and SoulScription, an online shoe rental site that calls itself Netflix for Shoes. Expect an afternoon of comp make-up and hair styling, drinks, nibbles, music by DJ Tempisphere and previews of both company’s collections. Party on Saturday, September 12 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fee: $10 in advance, www.nyfwstylebar.splashthat.com or $20 at the door.

Fashion Suite

Earlier this month, the Bryant Park Hotel turned New Orleans artist (and fashion enthusiast) Ashley Longshore loose in one of their rooms. The result is the Ashley Longshore Suite, an homage to the artist’s favorite fashion icons including Anna Wintour, Kate Moss and Audrey Hepburn. Though a pop-up, the suite is available for a limited time and open for bookings starting September 10.
